Fantasy Premier League is back for game week 7 after midweek action in the Carabao Cup that saw some star names rested while fringe players impressed.
There is also some excitement brewing for Game Week 7 which will feature the first double game week of the season with Luton and Burnley playing two matches. Both newly promoted sides are two of the weakest sides in the league and will have twice the opportunity to grab their first win of the season.
Injury doubts surround the likes of Bukayo Saka, James Maddison and Ben Chilwell, who has been ruled out from GW7. This means there are chances for other players as the fixtures come thick and fast.

Goalkeepers
Alphonse Areola (£4.2m)
The West Ham man is back in FPL contention after consecutive 3-1 defeats to Manchester City and Liverpool. Areola is joint-second among goalkeepers with 26 points and he can return points against rock-bottom Sheffield United side who have scored only once in their last two games.
Bernd Leno (£4.7m)
Leno has racked up the most FPL points from his position this season after recording 21 points from his last four matches. This is due to his high volume of saves and bonus points protecting a solid Fulham backline.
The German should see plenty of save points against a misfiring Chelsea side in GW7 as the Blues are yet to hit the net in their last three Premier League games. Furthermore, central striker Nicolas Jackson is suspended for this game and it is hard to see where Chelsea get a goal from against a side that prides itself in being compact.
Defenders
Matty Cash (£4.8m)
Newcastle defenders may be a priority in GW7 but Cash is a nice alternative after keeping a clean sheet last time out at Chelsea. Brighton, Wolves, West Ham, Luton, Nottingham Forest and Fulham will give the right-back enough chances to showcase his attacking prowess between now and GW12.
James Tarkowski (£4.4m)
Tarkowski registered a goal and assist against Brentford to help Everton record their first win of the season and his crucial contributions at both ends of the pitch will put him back in the minds of managers.
The Toffees look to have finally turned a corner after also beating Aston Villa 2-1 in the Carabao Cup and upcoming games against Luton and Bournemouth offer Sean Dyche’s men a path to redemption. Tarkowski is a reliable option and his recent exploits make him a nice differential pick at such a good price, his aerial prowess at set-pieces could be key in their next two home outings.
Kieran Trippier (£6.6m)
Last season’s top-ranked FPL defender recorded a career-high haul of 18 points after combining three assists with a clean sheet and three bonus points against Sheffield.
Trippier now boasts strong potential at both ends of the pitch in GW7 against Burnley with his creativity coming to the fore while the Geordies are yet to concede a goal in all competitions since the September international break.
Diogo Dalot (£4.9m)
The Portuguese has started and finished the last four games with his performances steadily improving. Having kept a clean sheet at Burnley, Manchester United host Crystal Palace in GW7 after beating them 3-0 in midweek.
Dalot can register another clean sheet against the Eagles who have scored only once in their last three matches in all competitions. With out-of-form Brentford and Sheffield United to come next, the right-back can build on his FPL promise as Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains out through injury.
Midfielders
Jarrod Bowen (£7.1m)
The winger has three goals with an assist in the last four games and a home encounter with Sheffield United gives him the chance to extend his run of form.
Bowen is now only five points behind the highest-scoring midfielder in FPL and he faces the Blades on the back of an 8-0 home defeat to Newcastle in GW6.
Anthony Gordon (£5.6m)
The winger is enjoying a productive start to his first full season at Newcastle and he has recorded a goal, two assists and two clean sheets in his last two games. Gordon now has five direct goal contributions which is more than his four from the whole of last season.
Burnley are the next visitors to St James’ Park where he is yet to blank this season and averages 6.3 points per match.
Mohamed Salah (£12.5m)
Still the only player to have returned in each game so far, Salah has now registered double digits in back-to-back matches.
The Liverpool talisman can continue his ruthless run against a Tottenham Hotspur side who have conceded five goals in their last three games. A captain’s captain in FPL.
James Ward-Prowse (£6.2m)
The midfielder can continue his impressive performances in GW7 after blanking for the first time this season in a tough fixture against Liverpool.
Ward-Prowse is averaging 6.2 FPL points per game in a West Ham shirt and his quality from dead balls should prove effective once again at home to Sheffield who are notably weak at set-pieces and aerial duels.
Forwards
Erling Haaland (£14.1m)
Haaland was rested in midweek and would be sharp against Wolves who were victims of a hat-trick and 17 FPL points the last time they faced City.
The Norwegian is the overwhelming captain favourite for every single game week he is available and you can’t bet against him recording a double-digit haul.
Carlton Morris (£5.5m)
The forward grabbed the equaliser against Wolves last time out which means he has been involved in all three of Luton’s goals this season. Morris is a solid pick when he faces key games against Everton and Burnley in GW7 and his price is worth the punt.
Be cautious that he perhaps offers less value after the DGW.
Ollie Watkins (£7.9m)
The Aston Villa striker finally scored his first goal of the season against Chelsea in GW6 having blanked only once in six games so far.
Watkins next faces Brighton in what is sure to be an open game as Villa enter a good run of fixtures up until they face Man City in GW15.
