It’s all set for a Wembley classic as title hopefuls Tottenham Hotspurs tackle an improved Manchester United.
This fixture proved an early thriller in the first weeks of the season when a Lucas Moura brace helped spurs to a 3-0 win.
The latest installment is a must-win for Mauricio Pochettino’s men who need to impress and prove their title credentials once more against a top 6 side.

Spurs have been in emphatic goalscoring form of late with Heung-Min Son particularly unstoppable alongside marksman Harry Kane, who is hitting top form for the second half of the season. He is now fourth on the club’s list of all-time goalscorers with 160 goals and has already notched 20 in all competitions this season.
The game also serves Pochettino the chance to show off his abilities to his would-be employers, not that they need any more assurances of his managerial pedigree.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have been kicked back to life by Ole Gunnar-Solskjaer since his appointment last month and he would want his charges to attack spurs at every opportunity to prove that he can get this team to have a go at every opponent which would return some of the fear and respect he and the fans believe Manchester United deserve from their rivals.
It’s also a great opportunity to defeat a top 6 rival and show they are up for the top 4 fight.
Academy graduates Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba have seen the most obvious upturn of form since their manager’s arrival and Rashford is relishing being first-choice centre forward. One or both of them should certainly be on the scoresheet on Sunday.
All in all, both teams have their pride at stake and are set for a breathless attacking spectacle to be played at a very high intensity. A game without a clean sheet certainly.
