Manchester City forward, Sergio Agüero reportedly left the pitch angrily during his side’s triumph over Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday.

Having started with Bernardo Silva at false nine against the Germans, Agüero was brought on for Silva in the 75th minute of City’s 4-0 win on aggregate in Budapest.

The Argentine club legend who failed to register a shot in his fifteen minutes of play however expressed dissatisfaction to one of the coaches after the match saying “they don’t pass me the ball.”

Riyad Mahrez in particular was presented with chances in and outside the box in the latter stages of the 2-nil win over Gladbach but instead decided to shoot, with his shots either off target or saved by goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Sergio Aguero was looking for a morale-boosting goal against Gladbach and made his feelings known.

The 32-year-old has endured a difficult season with form and fitness, having been sidelined by hamstring and knee problems and contracting coronavirus. Agüero, however, made a return to the starting lineup against Fulham and scored the second of the 3-0 win with his first Premier League goal since January 2020.

Kun has scored just three goals in fourteen appearances this season having struggled for playing time and his frustration was clear after the 90 minutes in Budapest.

Meanwhile, City’s record goalscorer will be looking forward to a start on Saturday when City face Everton in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
