With the Premier League season at its halfway stage, a record nine teams have spent time at the top of the table. To mark the second half of the season, Football Castle previews the biggest game of matchday 20 brought to you by our betting partners Betway.
Tottenham host Liverpool in a Premier League showdown between Jürgen Klopp and José Mourinho.
The Reds are winless in their last five Premier League games and are six points adrift of first-placed Manchester United. Klopp’s men have lost their confidence and cutting edge at a crucial point in the season to cast doubt on their title challenge.
Liverpool are yet to score in the Premier League in 2021 while Spurs are unbeaten this year.
Spurs have recovered from their own mini-slump over Christmas and are a point behind their opponents but Mourinho’s side have played one game less than the reigning champions. Tottenham are now unbeaten in their last four Premier League games, securing huge victories over Leeds and Sheffield United.
However, the Reds looked close to their best against Man United although that was not enough as they crashed out of the FA Cup fourth round. Betway have placed a Tottenham win at odds of 3.31 and 2.13 on an away win.

Liverpool won the reverse fixture thanks to a late Roberto Firmino header in December and would hope for similar fortunes as they have won their last six matches against Spurs. The Brazilian in particular would be looking to score a fifth goal in six against Spurs, with three of the last four being winners; he is tipped to score at 3.82.
Tottenham boss Mourinho has lost his last three league meetings against Klopp and would be buzzing at the chance to finally get one over his German counterpart. In doing that, Spurs would be winning consecutive home games against the defending champions having defeated City last season.
Harry Kane would be central to those plans as he hunts for a fourth consecutive premier league goal. This is why we think Spurs (2.20) or Kane (5.68) would get the first goal as only City have netted more openers this season.
Additionally, Kane is backed to score anytime at odds of 2.44
