PSG remain in contact with Kalidou Koulibaly after a representative of the Napoli defender met with PSG in Paris this week. However, Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti said about Koulibaly’s future: “I’m ready to chain myself to keep Koulibaly here at Napoli”. 

Napoli sources confirm there’s still no official bid from Everton or any other club for Koulibaly – despite rumours.

According to reports in Italy, Napoli will meet Lorenzo Insigne’s agent at the beginning of August to discuss the captain’s contract extension.

It’s up to the two clubs to reach an agreement. 

Juventus negotiations with Sassuolo continue for Manuel Locatelli, as it’s reported they could agree to a two-year loan with obligation to buy for €35m plus up to €10m in bonuses.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta when asked about the potential signing of Héctor Bellerín: “His is a name that is mentioned by you, there’s our interest, but I won’t go any further, because he’s not our player.” 

Gianluigi Longari has confirmed that Tottenham have an admiration for Lorenzo Pellegrini, who has a release clause of €30 million.

Dynel Simeu has turned down Chelsea’s proposal to sign a new contract and he’s now set to join Southampton on a free transfer. Simeu’s contract expired last June and he’ll move to Southampton as free agent – but Chelsea will receive a fee as part of the deal in private agreement with Southampton, around £1.5m.
