Fantasy Premier League game week 30

With the final international break of 2020/21 out of the way it is time to assess injury and quarantine updates as the Premier League season enters its final stretch.

Game week 30 includes some mouth-watering fixtures to get managers going again after a blank GW29 averaged 29 points from only four fixtures. Ahead of the deadline at 11:00 GMT on Saturday, Football Castle has a selection of this week’s hottest Fantasy Premier League picks.

Emiliano Martínez(£5.4m)

The highest-scoring goalkeeper this season faces relegation-threatened Fulham who are timid going forward despite being defensively resolute. Martinez will be keen to face the low-scoring Cottagers.

Édouard Mendy(£5.2m)

Chelsea have West Brom, Crystal Palace and Brighton in successive game weeks, offering the Senegalese shot-stopper a continued run of form which reads six straight clean sheets in all competitions as the 29-year-old has registered 14 shutouts this season.

Antonio Rüdiger(£4.7m)

The German has started nine of Thomas Tuchel’s 10 games since his compatriot took over at Chelsea. While Rudiger has registered 47 points in that time and enters a run of fixtures with heavy clean sheets potential.

Marcos Alonso(£5.7m) offers a triple-up on the Chelsea defence due to his inaction over the international break, whereas Ben Chilwell started two games for England.

The Spaniard is an aerial asset at the back while a dangerous prospect in the West Brom box where Sam Allardyce is set to set up deep. Alonso’s stretching of the game from wing-back and expert arrival in the box can prove the difference for his team. Chelsea are 3.78 to win by a two-goal margin.

Luke Shaw

Luke Shaw(£5.2m)

The Man United left-back is in red hot form with 35 points in his last four games and faces Brighton after his confidence-boosting outings for England. United’s four straight clean sheets also bodes well for Shaw against a rather toothless Seagulls team.

Raphinha (£5.7m)

The Brazilian has shown his potency with six goals and six assists so far in a very attack-minded team, therefore remains a key differential asset. Raphinha is a sure starter in Marcelo Bielsa’s side and comes up against one of the league’s worst defences in Sheffield.

Jesse Lingard (£6.2m)

The 28-year-old has attacking returns in six of his seven games for West Ham since February including three double-digit hauls. Lingard is in the form of his life and duly the most transferred-in player ahead of GW30 against Wolves, after his worldie goal and assist against Arsenal.

Patrick Bamford (£6.7m)

The striker’s goal and assist against Fulham took him to 14 goals and nine assists in 29 games. Bamford will lead the line when they host Sheffield and is a healthy captaincy pick for GW 30.

Che Adams(£5.8m)

The Southampton man has scored in each of his last three games. With Danny Ings out injured he has filled in and will surely start this fixture having also scored a wonderful goal for Scotland in midweek.
